If there’s something that women always have issues with when it comes to men, it’s the honesty and the fidelity factor. The common mistake that men often make in a relationship is cheating. Who could blame them? Men are known to be polygamous by nature. But just the same, no woman will stand to take such gibberish. Men don’t just lie directly the way people understand lying to be. The fact is, men also have their own language, their own pretensions, and their own way of communicating with women; to get what they want, to get away with trouble, and sometimes to save the women from all the paranoia and timeless nagging. But how will you know which one’s real and which one is just man-language?
- Hating women – Men definitely lie about this a lot. Men practically love all women. They just can’t get enough of them. The only time they hate a woman really is when she becomes his wife for a really long time. It’s a painful fact but it’s true for many. So, when men backbite, scrutinize, criticize or figuratively hate women, it’s only for now; especially when their partners are around. Even if men speak of the most unfortunate looking women, they would still jump at the chance, if ever there was an opportunity with any of them.
- Age – it’s very seldom that men lie about their age. Most men are proud about getting older because they know that age is often equated to maturity. And there’s nothing more that women like than men who are mature and are capable of taking care of them. Besides, men usually grow old slower as they worry less and do less multi-tasking compared to women who become workaholics, mothers, wives, and homemakers all at the same time. If some men lie about age, then there’s usually an underlying motive.
- Being not taken – This fact about them can just fly out the window anytime. A lot of men lie about being married or having girlfriends because they still want to flirt with other women. But some are cool about it. If they’re not asked, they don’t say anything. But if they are, they pretend like they’re cool about it and act as if they like being attached to make another woman believe they’re into commitment. And the worst part? If a woman continues to flirt with a man after knowing he’s taken, men absolutely love that. For one, it feeds their ego knowing they’re so irresistible. And if they get caught, they can always put the blame on the other woman for being a flirt.
- Money – You will never really know what men are up to when it comes to money and business. What you see is what you get. Men usually keep a bit for themselves for their own activities and whereabouts. They can just do business behind your back and become overnight millionaires. Men are almost always capable of not telling when it comes to money. They would rather not say anything than lie. Money for them is power.
- Jobs and schedules – Oh yes, this is a man’s great escape. Not all meetings are meetings and not all overtime work is done at the office. Women are keener about discussing as to how their day went. Men like to discuss some parts but when it comes to lunch breaks and after office hours, they prefer to hush. Men don’t like being followed up minute after minute by women who are not their mothers. Even the married ones do not want to declare they are dismissed from work because they choose to forcefully retain their so-called spontaneity.
