Fashion: International & Exotic
No matter how exciting, sometimes it seems silly how everyone is always after the latest fashion designs; what’s in, what’s old, what’s unacceptable, and what they should add to their already exploding wardrobes. Well, fashion is evolution after all; creations, remakes, developments, and anything to make the world more beautiful than it already is. But what do people usually look out for other than fashion week? They almost always pay attention to the latest fashion designs in the West. What people don’t realize is that the world of fashion is so diverse that there’s more style than we think we already know. If food can be discovered in different places, then so can fashion. And if we’re talking about fresh and unique, the South and the East have it too. And it’s just as good and alluring as the trends that we’re all commonly acquainted to. Here are some of the best worldwide styles that will blow you away:

Indian Fashion – Among the best in the latest fashion designs in South Asia is from India. Indian clothing is remarkable for two things: color and culture. Perfectly represented by belly dancing clothes, the Indian garments are dominated by long flowing skirts and midriff silk blouses outlined by gold ribbons. India is also popular for scarves and bright glittering bangles. And fashion there has evolved too. It’s not just all about the sari (wrap around) and tikka (Indian head jewelry) anymore. The latest fashion in India is also boasting of long sexy gowns with colourful patterns and transparent chiffon cover-ups. Their conservative clothing has transformed into more flattering ones and yet their culture is still well put on show.

African fashion – African clothing is another array of the most colourful garbs you can ever find. The latest fashion designs include native skirts, fine wrap-arounds and woven dresses that represent how much nature is preserved in Africa. Of course modern African fashion would not be complete without wood beaded jewelry and the famous African head dresses. What we commonly see in African festivals are actually commonly used by the natives, both women and men. The women wear the silk African head wrap while the men wear the lion’s mane head dress or the beaded coiffures. Africa’s richness and distinction is well displayed in its clothing, and some of the latest fashion designs in the West are even based from their fashion.

Hawaiian fashion – When the word Hawaii is mentioned, people would barely think of clothes and they would just think of bikinis instead as Hawaii is the surf capital of the world and home to some of the best beaches. But Hawaiian fashion is quite interesting as well. It has one very distinct design that never dies out: flowers. Even in their latest fashion designs, floral prints are found in men’s polo shirts, girl’s blouses and mumus (long boho dresses). Hawaiian clothing showcases a fresh and easy summer look. Their clothes are also filled with bright hues. And when it comes to accessorizing, the Hawaiians only depend on one thing: the flower still; placed on either the right or left ear or around the neck as a lay. And don’t forget, the Hawaiians are highly noted for their grass skirts and coconut shell bikini tops.

Korean fashion – Korea is now a first-world country, leading the globe in terms of economy, technology, music, and fashion. Korean women are one of those who really dress up for whatever the occasion. The latest fashion designs in Korea are dominated by leggings, heels, loose blouses, mini dresses, stylish cardigan sweaters and knitted hats. Korean fashion is all about layering. Their clothes are not as multi-colored as it is more inclined towards a classic color palette. And to complement their fashion statement, the Korean hair styling which is sought after by majority of the Asian women completes the get up. Frisky bangs and sexy locks are what they consider as the best accessory to their outfits.
