First of all there's no commitment. Another pickle about casual sex is that it might destroy a friendship. But eventually one will always subconsciously take advantage of the other and the friendship factor suddenly becomes blurry. No one wants her friend to look at her a like some piece of meat. And the worst could happen when one of you decides to settle down. Being friends “still” with someone you used to bang a lot will make the new relationship uncomfortable and full of insecurities, not to mention petty quarrels and ultimatums that are totally uncalled for. But giving up an old friend may also seem like crossing enemy lines for you.
