Yes, it’s confirmed. The pop princess is coming to Glee! After the success of Glee’s all-Madonna episode, Ryan Murphy (Glee creator) revealed to TV Guide that Heather Morris, who plays as Britanny on Glee, is set to sing two of Brit Brit’s tunes.
Heather says, “I hear there’s a Britney Spears episode coming up and fingers crossed that I get to sing, because I play Brittany and I’m like, ‘Oh my God, it’s insane.’”
Ryan Murphy said that the episode will serve as a “thank you” to Britney’s contribution to the music industry. Murphy told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show (KIIS FM) that Britney is going to join them in this special episode and do a couple of scenes.
"She is pop culture, it’s going to be kind, not about her personal life. You know she’s (Britney) been through a lot, but we want to do this episode to say thank you very much for all you’ve done and we’re encouraging you to continue being as fantastic as you are. She’s gonna come and join us and do a couple of scenes. I think Britney, 100 percent, is going to be on the episode.” He continues, "This is so reverential, so kind and about her music. We’re handling Britney with kids gloves," he added.
Meanwhile, Britney Spear's manager, Adam Leber, Tweeted “Do you guys want to see a Britney spears episode of Glee?” to gather support from fans.
